December 14, 2009

It seems no matter how hectic/stressful/anxiety-ridden some of my days can be, I listen to this song (and other Bob Marley classics) and it completely brings me back down to Earth.

So happy this song just came on the radio.

nino02

I support the West Memphis Three. Three innocent boys (now men), wrongly convicted of murder. If you haven’t heard of them, check out the site and watch both films, Paradise Lost I & II. I wear my WM3 POW bracelet everyday in support of their cause. These guys NEED to be released.

December 7, 2009

Well two months has passed since I updated. I wonder if anyone actually even visits anymore. I really need to make a conscience effort to update this more often. Perhaps that can be on my list of New Years resolutions.

I figured I’d update with a list of things. Things that have interested me, things that I’ve done, and anything else I feel worthy of being mentioned.

In no particular order…

ozandjames

Oz and James Drink to Britain. A wonderful show, and an offshoot of their other two series “Oz and James Great Wine Adventure.” In Drink to Britain, they explore the variety of alcoholic beverages that Britain has to offer. In the Great Wine Adventures, they explore the vineyards of France and America. A great way to wind down at the end of the day. These shows are an escape to me.

baconsalt

Bacon Salt. Just like they say, “Everything should taste like bacon.”, and I couldn’t agree more. I put this on almost anything. Especially my sunny side up eggs over toast in the morning.

oncewed

Once Wed. I’m not the one getting married, but I’m designing some wedding invitations for some friends, and in the process of my research have stumbled across a couple of AMMMMAZING wedding blogs. So inspiring that I visit them everyday. I guess there’s still a bit of that little girl in me that daydreams about what her wedding will be like. Another favourite blog to note would be Green Wedding Shoes.

jason-ellis

The Jason Ellis Show. Thank you Jason Ellis for getting me through my days. 4 hours of ridiculous-ness. I helps those boring afternoons fly by. Red Dragons.

brother

My new sewing machine, a Brother HE-240. A big thanks to my parents as an early Christmas gift. It has been fun getting some crafts done and exploring the endless things this machine can do. A solid basic machine, that also does embroidery…which I have even yet to venture in to.
